Architecture was often identified as a profession that was allocated for the human with high capability in economy. Opposite with the paradigm, we often found the low cost housing design that only produce a “preciousless” design, preciousless by the shape, as well the fulfillment of the quality of rooms that was created. Moreover, the buildings and rooms were lost in their meaning and expression. A room with healthy air circulation, sufficiency in the quality of illumination, and the appropriate of room dimension with the human comfort standard, are an “expensive” point for the society with intermediate into low capability in economy. Because of that, we desire to bring out the “expensive” point, into the low cost housing design concept, by considering the material efficiency with appropriate eco-friendly design. So that, we could present something “expensive” in the low cost housing design concept.
